Skyjacker fabricated the Replacement Upper Control Arm (UCA) out of high weld strength, thick walled DOM steel tubing to withstand extreme amounts of stress and loads. For additional rigidity and strength, a welded gusset plate stiffens the arm and bushing eyelets into one. CNC machined bushing eyelets and ball joint cups ensure precise fitment. Skilled technicians assemble Skyjacker's exacting CNC laser cutting, bending and machining procedures to our calculated engineering specifications. The steel encased OEM style rubber bushings deliver a quiet consistent controlled stability and smooth riding comfort. The greasable ball joint's full induction ball design, low friction bearing technology and other technical performance characteristics add longevity and increased strength. Engineered with built-in camber correction for improved handling, this system integrates smoothly and functions perfectly allowing the CV axles to operate within limits of new UCA and OEM lower control arms. The replacement UCA comes completely preassembled and ready to install with a durable powder coat finish.Retain your front Ford OEM tuned performance struts with strut spacers. A combination of preload and short upper strut mount spacers distributes the lift load more evenly and prevents CV axle overextension within the OEM tolerances. The moderate front preload spacer, built from T6160 Aluminum, is the first component to add a higher ride height. A short 1-piece top mount metal strut spacer is the second piece. This 1-piece top mount strut spacer has a strong tab-and-slot interlocked design: precise CNC laser cut and precision formed in CNC press break. These are powder coated to provide an extremely durable protective barrier to prevent corrosion.This combination system functions perfectly to prevent binding of the new UCA with the strut assembly. Works with Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) system. A 2- in. rear block and u-bolt kit delivers a more level stance.
