Return and Refund Policy
Lots of Parts.ca accepts returns on most new, unused, uninstalled items within 30 days of delivery, subject to the conditions below.
Return Eligibility
Returned items must be new, unused, uninstalled, complete, and in the original manufacturer packaging. Items must be in resalable condition with all parts, manuals, hardware, accessories, and packaging included.
How to Start a Return
- Email info@lotsofparts.ca with your order number, item, and reason for return.
- Wait for return instructions and a return authorization before shipping the item back.
- Pack the item securely and include all original packaging and components.
- Ship the item using the return instructions provided by our team.
Return Shipping
If the return is due to our error, a defective item, or an incorrect item shipped, we will help arrange the return and cover the approved return shipping cost. For other returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not returnable unless they arrive defective or incorrect: installed, used, damaged, modified, painted, programmed, or assembled items; electrical components that have been installed, plugged in, or tested; special-order items; custom-order items; clearance/final-sale items; hazardous materials; fluids; chemicals; and items missing original packaging or components.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Contact us as soon as possible if your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect. Include your order number and photos of the item, packaging, shipping label, and damage if applicable. We will review the issue and provide the next steps.
Refund Timing
After an approved return is received and inspected, refunds are processed to the original payment method. Please allow 5 to 7 business days after inspection for us to process the refund. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the credit.
Exchanges
If you need a different part, contact us before returning the item. We can help confirm fitment and explain whether a return, exchange, or new order is the best option.
