Compass years and hitch shopping

Compass hitch shopping splits by generation and, on some SKUs, by a VIN digit note on the product card. CURT 13363 is the Class 3 two-inch path for 2017 through 2026 Compass. CURT 12174 is the Class 2 option for the same years with a 1.25 inch receiver. Earlier Compass SUVs share Patriot hitches: CURT 13081 or CURT 12057 for 2011–2017, and CURT 13548 for 2007–2010. Jeep’s published Compass tow ratings stay modest, so treat the hitch as a ceiling.

Class 2 option: CURT 12174 with a 1.25 inch receiver — the card notes a VIN eleventh-digit check. Wiring: CURT 56369 four-flat for 2017–2021. A 2022-and-newer custom wiring SKU is not in our active list yet.
