CURT 13577 Murano Install
Official CURT Murano hitch install on the channel. Closest factory video for Murano bolt-up habits even though our early-year stock SKU is CURT 13571.
Watch on YouTube →Shopping a trailer hitch for a Nissan Murano in Canada? This guide walks the year landers we publish today, compares the Class 3 receivers we stock, and stays honest about the mid-generation gap where we have wiring but no hitch SKU.
All four videos are from the official CURT YouTube channel (@curtmfg). CURT publishes a Murano install for CURT 13577. A dedicated CURT 13205 install for the current generation is not on the channel today, so we also include selection, install technique, and wiring videos that still apply.

Watch on YouTube →Murano hitch shopping is simple when the year matches a stocked Class 3 SKU — and honest when it does not. CURT 13205 covers 2015 through 2024 with a two-inch Class 3 receiver. Early Muranos from 2003 through 2007 use CURT 13571. The 2008 through 2014 generation is the hard gap: we stock custom wiring for many of those years, but we do not invent a hitch SKU that is missing from the active catalog.
| Years | What we usually stock |
|---|---|
| 2015–2024 | Class 3: CURT 13205 with a two-inch receiver (up to 3,500 lb GTW and 350 lb tongue on the card). Wiring: CURT 56267 four-flat for the same years. Live year landers exist for 2015, 2016, and 2019–2023 — we do not invent 2017, 2018, or 2024 landers. |
| 2003–2007 | Class 3: CURT 13571 with a two-inch receiver (up to 3,500 lb GTW and 350 lb tongue on the card). Wiring: CURT 55571 for 2003–2005 and CURT 56425 for 2006–2007. |
| 2008–2014 gap | No Murano hitch SKU for this generation is in our active CURT list today. Wiring still exists for many of those years via CURT 55571 (2009–2014). Use Shop by Vehicle or contact support rather than forcing a 13205 or 13571 onto the wrong years. |
| Catalog honesty | We publish Murano hitch landers for 2003–2007, 2015–2016, and 2019–2023 only. Missing years are missing on purpose — we will not invent landers or hitch SKUs to fill the mid-generation gap. |
Never exceed the vehicle maker’s tow rating for your trim and drivetrain. Treat the hitch as a ceiling, not a target.
