This is a 1995 - 2002 (sometimes up to 2005) Chevrolet truck and van factory OEM AM FM Cassette Player Radio that has been professionally remanufactured and upgraded with aux input on a pigtail for use with 3.5 mm music devices, Bluetooth music capability, and RCA outputs in the rear for use with a high end amplifier. This radio is interchangeable with many different part numbers. It has the option code UP0 and it will connect to a remote CD player or changer sold separately. This unit is completely unlocked and cleared for Plug and Play use. You will not lose any functionality due to the aux input and the radio will have all factory OEM features. Operation of the iPod jack is a snap. Just snap your accessory in and you will be listening to it through all of your car speakers. With our Aux Input, you can use the volume, bass, treble, fader and balance controls as you would with the rest of the radio. There is no compromise on the audio going into the jack as it is running straight into the pre amp. The Bluetooth upgrade is simple to operate. Just pair the device press the Bluetooth button and play your music or most in-app audio. Many will play in full crisp clean quality while taking advantage of all sound controls on the radio. To complete paring some devices require a passkey or code which is '0000.' Please note: that this will not work with phone calls as phone manufacturers have designed calls to work with Bluetooth mic systems only. This radio came with and without a fan but unless you are in a very, very hot climate, it is unnecessary.
