Enclave years we publish (and what to expect)

Lots of Parts publishes Enclave hitch year pages from 2008 through 2024. That covers the first-generation crossover and the redesigned second generation. We do not yet publish 2025-and-newer Enclave year landers.

Hitch shopping splits by generation. CURT 13424 covers 2008 through 2017 Enclave with shared Acadia and Traverse notes on the card. CURT 13433 covers 2018 through 2024 Enclave. Always stay under Buick’s tow rating for your engine and tow package.

2008–2017 Enclave Class 3: CURT 13424 with a 2 inch receiver. Shared Acadia and Traverse years appear on the card. Watch the CURT 13424 install video above.
Wiring · early CURT 56027 for listed 2008–2012 Enclave years (shared Malibu and Traverse notes). Confirm Enclave on the card.
Wiring · mid CURT 56245 for 2013–2017 Enclave (shared Traverse and Acadia notes). Match the plug to your trailer.
Brake control harness CURT 51422 is a brake-controller plug harness for listed early crossover years — not a trailer-light harness.
Not a trailer hitch CURT 70124 is an RV flat-tow base plate for dinghy towing behind a motorhome. It is not a rear Class 3 for pulling a trailer.
2025-and-newer No Enclave hitch year landers yet. Do not force an older card onto a newer crossover without checking fitment.

Never exceed Buick’s tow rating. Crossover ratings are often modest — respect the lowest number among vehicle, hitch, ball mount, and trailer.

Canada checklist

  • Start with the live year page if you own a 2008–2024 Enclave.
  • Believe Buick’s tow rating — many Enclaves are light-duty tow vehicles even with a Class 3 receiver.
  • Do not confuse a base plate with a trailer hitch — CURT 70124 is for being towed, not for pulling.
  • Plan for salt season — rinse the receiver and plug it when spring arrives.
