Colorado running boards

Colorado side stepsInto the cab, or back to the bed

A step gets you into a midsize Chevy, and the bar is cut for one cab. Two Crew Cab nerf steps differ: one stops at the door, one runs to the rear wheel so you can reach the bed. One of them says Ext, for the extended cab, and there's a PowerStep on the current body and another on the 2015 truck.

The PowerSteps don't say which cab AMP's current Plug-N-Play and the 2015-body PowerStep both leave the cab off. Confirm the product page before you order.

One PowerStep

Current Colorado, one PowerStep

AMP's Plug-N-Play PowerStep is tagged 2023 through 2026 and does not name a cab.

Crew Cab and Ext

The 2015 Colorado

A wheel-to-wheel Nerf Step and a cab-length RS Nerf Step name Crew Cab and are tagged through 2026. A cab-length Nerf Step titled Ext stops at 2022, as does the PowerStep for this body.

Crew Cab through 2026

N-Fab G1583CC-6-TX and 415418312 are both tagged through 2026, so a 2023 or newer Crew Cab owner should check them too.

Colorado step questions

Crew Cab or Ext?

Two of these are for the Crew Cab, the four-full-door truck. One N-Fab step is marked Ext, short for the Extended Cab with its smaller rear doors. Match the cab to yours.

What is bed access?

A bed access bar runs past the cab to the rear wheel and adds a third step by the bed, so you can reach into the box from the side. On this page that is the wheel-to-wheel Crew Cab bar.

Looking for a Colorado bed lid?

The Colorado tonneau cover guide sorts those covers by bed length.
