Escape years and hitch shopping

Escape hitch shopping splits cleanly by generation. First-generation trucks lean on CURT 13506. The 2005 through 2012 group uses CURT 13650 or CURT 13651 for Class 3 and CURT 12060 for Class 2. The 2013 through 2019 refresh brings CURT 13186 or CURT 13131 for Class 3 and CURT 12111 for Class 2. Newer 2020-and-later Escapes move to CURT 13454 Class 3, which includes listed hybrid applications while excluding plug-in hybrid on the card we stock today.

Years What we usually stock
2020–2026 Class 3: CURT 13454 with a two-inch receiver (up to 3,500 lb GTW and 525 lb tongue on the card). Shared Corsair fitment and Escape Hybrid listings appear on the card. Plug-in hybrid is excluded. Wiring: CURT 56448 for listed 2020–2022 years.
2013–2019 Class 3: CURT 13186 or CURT 13131 (S trim excluded on 13131). Class 2: CURT 12111. Wiring: CURT 56335 for 2013–2016 and CURT 56432 for 2019 on the cards.
2005–2012 Class 3: CURT 13650 (and related CURT 13651 where years align). Class 2: CURT 12060. Earlier wiring often points to CURT 56329 when Escape years match the card.
2001–2004 Class 3: CURT 13506 for first-generation Escape and listed Tribute applications.

Never exceed Ford’s tow rating for your trim, drivetrain, and tow package. A hitch rating is not permission to tow heavier than the crossover was designed for.
