2016 Nissan Titan XD hitch questions
Which trailer hitch fits a 2016 Nissan Titan XD?
CURT 15306 is a Class 5 hitch with a 2-inch receiver, rated to 16,000 lb gross trailer weight and 2,400 lb tongue weight.
How much can a 2016 Nissan Titan XD tow with this hitch?
The hitch is rated to 16,000 lb gross trailer weight and 2,400 lb tongue weight, or 17,000 lb with a weight-distribution hitch. Your Titan XD has its own tow rating in the owner's manual, and the lower number is your limit. A loaded bike rack counts against tongue weight too.
Do I need a wiring harness for the 2016 Nissan Titan XD?
If a trailer is going on, yes. Brake and turn signals have to work, and CURT 56070010 plugs into the factory connector so the trailer lights follow the Titan XD's. Order it with the hitch and it's one install.
