2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK hitch questions
Which trailer hitch fits a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK?
CURT 13182 (Class 3, 2-inch receiver, 6,000 lb) and CURT 13065 (Class 3, 2-inch receiver, 5,000 lb) both fit. Pick the class that covers your trailer with room to spare, then check the fit table on the product page for your build.
How much can a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK tow with this hitch?
The hitch is rated to 6,000 lb gross trailer weight and 600 lb tongue weight, or 7,500 lb with a weight-distribution hitch. Your Grand Cherokee WK has its own tow rating in the owner's manual, and the lower number is your limit. A loaded bike rack counts against tongue weight too.
Do I need a wiring harness for the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK?
If a trailer is going on, yes. Brake and turn signals have to work, and CURT 56426 plugs into the factory connector so the trailer lights follow the Grand Cherokee WK's. Order it with the hitch and it's one install.
Will it fit my Grand Cherokee WK?
Nearly every build, with a few exceptions. CURT 13182 doesn't fit the Srt trim. CURT 13065 doesn't fit a Grand Cherokee WK with a Srt or srt8 or trackhawk & Diesel. The full fit table is on each product page, so check it before you order.
