CURT 13068 Odyssey Install
Factory CURT install of CURT 13068 on a 2004 Odyssey — the closest official Odyssey hitch video for earlier generations.
Watch on YouTube →Shopping a trailer hitch for a Honda Odyssey in Canada? This guide walks the year landers we publish today, compares the Class 3 and Class 2 receivers we stock, and stays honest about wiring years that stop short of the newest vans.
All four videos are from the official CURT YouTube channel (@curtmfg). CURT publishes a dedicated install for CURT 13068 on an older Odyssey. A dedicated CURT 13370 install for the current generation is not on the channel today, so we also include selection, install technique, and fascia tips that still apply.

Watch on YouTube →Some minivan installs need careful panel or fascia clearance. Watch before you cut anything on an Odyssey bumper cover.
Watch on YouTube →Odyssey hitch shopping splits cleanly by generation. CURT 13370 covers 2018 through 2026 with a two-inch Class 3 receiver. Earlier vans from 1999 through 2017 use CURT 13068 for Class 3 or CURT 12031 for a Class 2 receiver with a 1.25 inch opening. Honda’s published tow ratings for Odyssey stay modest, so treat the hitch rating as a ceiling and believe the door sticker first.
| Years | What we usually stock |
|---|---|
| 2018–2026 | Class 3: CURT 13370 with a two-inch receiver (up to 3,500 lb GTW and 525 lb tongue on the card, with weight-distribution notes). CURT notes this hitch is not for vertical-hanging bike racks. Wiring: CURT 56382 four-flat for 2018–2025. A 2026 wiring SKU is not in our active list yet. |
| 1999–2017 | Class 3: CURT 13068 with a two-inch receiver (up to 3,500 lb GTW and 350 lb tongue on the card). Class 2 option: CURT 12031 with a 1.25 inch receiver. Wiring: CURT 56378 for 2011–2017 and CURT 56161 for 2005–2010. |
| Catalog honesty | We publish Odyssey hitch landers for 1999 through 2026. Custom four-flat wiring for the current generation stops at 2025 in our active CURT list, so a brand-new 2026 Odyssey may need Shop by Vehicle or support help for lights. |
Never exceed Honda’s tow rating for your trim and drivetrain. Treat the hitch as a ceiling, not a target.
