Pilot years we publish (and what to expect)

Lots of Parts currently publishes Pilot hitch year pages for 2022 through 2025. Our Class 3 receiver in stock for current Pilots is CURT 13472, which covers 2023-and-newer Pilots (and listed Acura MDX years). If your Pilot already has a factory hitch, you may only need wiring, a ball mount, or accessories.

Years What we usually stock
2023–2026 Pilot Class 3: CURT 13472. Models with a hands-free liftgate may need Honda’s sensor relocation kit — that note is on the CURT application, so read it before you buy.
Wiring for 2016–2022 Pilot Harness options include CURT 56291 and CURT 56421. Confirm plug type against your trailer.
Earlier Pilot wiring We still list CURT 56170 for 2012–2015 and CURT 56365 for select 2009–2011 Pilot applications. Pre-2022 year landers are not published yet.

Never exceed Honda’s tow rating for your engine, drivetrain, and tow package. A hitch does not raise the vehicle limit.

  • Believe Honda’s tow rating for your drivetrain — it beats any hitch brochure.
  • Plan for salt season — rinse the receiver and plug it in spring.
  • Pre-2022 Pilot owners can still shop wiring SKUs above, but year landers for those years are not live yet.
