Sportage years and hitch shopping

Sportage hitch shopping tracks three main Class 3 eras in our store. CURT 13485 covers 2023 through 2026 Sportage and shares listed Tucson years. CURT 13281 covers 2017 through 2022. Earlier crossovers use CURT 13120 for 2011 through 2016, with CURT 13066 as an alternate Class 3 that excludes SX, plus CURT 13526 for 2004 through 2010. Kia’s published tow ratings vary by package, so believe the door sticker before the hitch brochure.

2017–2022 Class 3: CURT 13281 with a two-inch receiver (up to 3,500 lb GTW and 525 lb tongue). Class 2 option: CURT 12158 with a 1.25 inch receiver. Wiring: CURT 56321 four-flat for 2017–2022.
2011–2016 Class 3: CURT 13120 with shared Tucson fitment. Alternate Class 3: CURT 13066 for 2011–2015 Sportage excluding SX (same exclusion on Class 2 CURT 12030). A clean mid-generation Sportage wiring SKU is thin in our active list.
2004–2010 Class 3: CURT 13526 with shared Tucson years. Wiring: CURT 55529 for 2005–2010.

Never exceed Kia’s tow rating for your trim, drivetrain, and tow package. Treat the hitch as a ceiling, not a target.
