Lots of Parts publishes Ascent hitch year pages for 2019 through 2026. We stock two Class 3 rear receivers for listed Ascent years: CURT 13400 and CURT 13448. Both use a 2-inch receiver opening. The practical difference shoppers ask about is tongue weight and weight-distribution compatibility.

CURT 13400 Class 3 rear for listed 2019–2026 Ascent years: CURT 13400. Typical CURT ratings on that card are about 5,000 lb trailer and 675 lb tongue. Weight-distribution compatibility is not listed the same way as 13448 — read the product card carefully.
CURT 13448 Class 3 rear for listed 2019–2026 Ascent years: CURT 13448. Typical CURT ratings on that card are about 5,000 lb trailer and 750 lb tongue, with weight-distribution figures listed on the sheet.
Wiring CURT 56040 — custom 4-flat that also covers many other Subaru applications. Confirm Ascent years on the card.
Do not assume CURT 11465 is a Class 1 hitch aimed at other Subaru models. Do not treat it as an Ascent Class 3 swap even if search results mix the names.

Never exceed Subaru’s tow rating for your engine, drivetrain, and tow package. A hitch does not raise the vehicle limit.
