Tundra running boards

Tundra running boardsCrewMax or Double Cab first

A Tundra step cut for the CrewMax will not line up on a Double Cab, and the reverse is also true. Start with the cab, then choose a cab-length step or one that runs to the rear wheel.

The redesigned Tundra

A cab-length N-Fab Nerf Step fits the CrewMax, without a bed access step. An AMP Research Plug-N-Play PowerStep covers the same years and doesn't say which cab.

Tundra from 2007 to 2021

Cab-length Nerf Step RS bars cover the Double Cab and the CrewMax, and wheel-to-wheel steps cover both as well, one with a bed access step. A GEM Tubes nerf bar and a 76-inch running board leave the cab off, and a PowerStep fits through 2017.

Tundra step questions

How do I tell CrewMax from Double Cab?

CrewMax rear doors are close in size to the fronts. Double Cab rear doors are shorter. That split decides which N-Fab step you want.

What is a bed access step?

Some wheel-to-wheel bars add a third pad by the bed, and others do not. The product page tells you which.

Covers for the same box?

The Tundra tonneau cover guide sorts covers by bed length.
