Atlas years and hitch shopping

Early Atlas hitch shopping is clear in our store. CURT 13366 covers the Class 3 path we list for 2018 through 2021 Atlas with a two-inch receiver. Cross Sport is excluded on the CURT application for this SKU, so do not force it onto a Cross Sport. We publish hitch landers for 2018 through 2021 only. For later Atlas years we stock trailer wiring (CURT 56464) but we do not currently list a dedicated Atlas hitch SKU in the active catalog.

Cross Sport Do not use CURT 13366 on Cross Sport. Open Shop by Vehicle or contact support rather than guessing from the standard Atlas card.

Atlas tow ratings vary by engine and package. Size the trailer to Volkswagen’s published limit first, then pick the receiver that matches your year.

Step 2Confirm Cross Sport notes

CURT 13366 excludes Cross Sport. Do not force that SKU onto an excluded body style.

Step 3Match wiring carefully

Later Atlas years may need CURT 56464 even when a hitch SKU is not listed yet.

Step 4Add lights and a ball mount
