This CURT sway control kit helps limit lateral trailer movement so crosswinds and passing trucks push less on the tow vehicle. It fits most weight-distribution hitches, or a ball mount with a sway tab such as CURT part 45820.
The kit includes a weld-on sway tab for ball mounts that do not already have one, plus a spacer plate for a proper bite on the bar. Use it on travel trailers and taller utility trailers that hunt in the lane on windy days.
Installation means mounting the tab (weld or use an existing tab), attaching the friction bar, and setting tension per CURT’s instructions. Recheck after the first loaded trip. Never exceed hitch, WD, or vehicle ratings while you dial in sway control.
