CURT parts for the 2017 Nissan Rogue

Your 2017 Nissan Rogue has two CURT hitches to choose from, and the right one comes down to what you're pulling and what you'll hang off the receiver. CURT 13204 is a Class 3 hitch with a 2-inch receiver, rated to 3,500 lb gross trailer weight and 525 lb tongue weight, $275.27 CAD. It doesn't fit the Krom trim.

CURT 12122 is a Class 1 hitch with a 1-1/4 inch receiver, rated to 3,500 lb gross trailer weight and 350 lb tongue weight, $280.75 CAD. It doesn't fit the Krom trim. Both ship free anywhere in Canada.

Trailer lights are a plug-in job on this one. CURT 56033 is the four-flat plug harness for the 2017 Nissan Rogue, $101.92 CAD, and it clicks into the factory connector so you're not splicing wires behind the bumper.

What you need to tow with a 2017 Nissan Rogue

A bike rack only needs the hitch. A trailer needs all three, and every piece ships free anywhere in Canada.

  1. CURT 13204 hitch, $275.27 CAD. The receiver that bolts to the Rogue.
  2. CURT 56033 wiring harness, $101.92 CAD. Plugs in, no splicing; the trailer lights follow the Rogue's.
  3. CURT 45836 ball mount, $41.70 CAD. Ball mount with the ball already on it, ready to hook a trailer. Bigger coupler? CURT 45041 carries a 2-5/16-inch ball, $62.42 CAD.

2017 Nissan Rogue hitch questions

Which trailer hitch fits a 2017 Nissan Rogue?

CURT 13204 (Class 3, 2-inch receiver, 3,500 lb) and CURT 12122 (Class 1, 1-1/4 inch receiver, 3,500 lb) both fit. Pick the class that covers your trailer with room to spare, then check the fit table on the product page for your build.

How much can a 2017 Nissan Rogue tow with this hitch?

The hitch is rated to 3,500 lb gross trailer weight and 525 lb tongue weight. Your Rogue has its own tow rating in the owner's manual, and the lower number is your limit. A loaded bike rack counts against tongue weight too.

Do I need a wiring harness for the 2017 Nissan Rogue?

If a trailer is going on, yes. Brake and turn signals have to work, and CURT 56033 plugs into the factory connector so the trailer lights follow the Rogue's. Order it with the hitch and it's one install.

Will it fit my Rogue?

Nearly every build, with a few exceptions. CURT 13204 doesn't fit the Krom trim. CURT 12122 doesn't fit the Krom trim. The full fit table is on each product page, so check it before you order.
