Mazda CX-9 Floor Liner Buyer's Guide (Canada)

Mazda built its last CX-9 for the 2023 model year, so this guide is for owners planning to keep a good thing going. How often all three rows fill up decides how much floor to cover. We carry WeatherTech FloorLiner, Husky Weatherbeater, and 3D MAXpider KAGU for the 2016 through 2023 CX-9, plus WeatherTech pieces for the first generation.

Many Canada orders ship free once the cart qualifies. Every product page below has EasySearch, so enter your year, make, and model there before you add a liner. Shopping for a different vehicle? See every floor liner guide.

Which CX-9 is in your garage?

Mazda redesigned the CX-9 for 2016, and the floor changed with it. Liners made for 2016 through 2023 won't sit right in an earlier CX-9, and the older pieces won't suit the newer one.

Our first-generation stock is tagged for 2007 through 2011, 2013, and 2014. Nothing on our shelf is tagged for 2012 or 2015, so ask us before you order for either of those years.

On the newer CX-9, WeatherTech makes two shapes for the second row and two for the third. Our product data doesn't say which seat layout takes which. EasySearch on the product page settles it in a few seconds.

The CX-90 that followed is a different vehicle with a different floor. CX-5, CX-50, and CX-30 liners don't cross over either.

WeatherTech, Husky, or KAGU in a CX-9

WeatherTech gives you the most complete CX-9 kit we stock. Front, second row, and third row are sold as separate pieces, which suits families who keep the back bench folded most of the year. The HP front costs a bit more and trades the standard liner's firm shell for a more flexible feel.

Husky Weatherbeater keeps things simple. One set covers the front and second row together, and the Weatherbeater cargo liner is the one we'd put behind the seats, since our WeatherTech cargo stock is running low.

3D MAXpider KAGU is the carpet-look choice. Its six-piece set dresses all three rows of a 2020 through 2023 CX-9 in one order.

Floor liners for the 2016 through 2023 CX-9

Everything in this group is black and on our shelf today. Check your year with EasySearch on each listing before you check out.

If EasySearch points your second row elsewhere, the other WeatherTech shape is FloorLiner HP 449724IM. The third row has a twin too, FloorLiner HP 449725IM. Both are in stock for listed 2016 through 2023 years.

Driving a first-generation CX-9?

First-generation owners get their own WeatherTech pair. The front pairs with a rear piece that covers the second and third rows together.

Questions CX-9 owners ask

Did Mazda build a CX-9 after 2023?

No. The 2023 model year was the last one. Mazda's CX-90 took its place, and it needs its own liners, so search CX-90 parts by its own year, make, and model.

Which second-row liner fits my CX-9?

There are two second-row shapes for 2016 through 2023. Enter your year, make, and model in EasySearch on either product page, and it will confirm the one that matches.

Do I need the third-row liner?

If the back seats spend most of the year folded flat, the cargo liner may do more work for you. If kids ride back there all winter, the third-row piece keeps slush off carpet that's awkward to reach with a vacuum.

Three rows

Start where the boots land

On most CX-9s, carpet wear starts at the front and second row. Begin there, then add the third row or cargo liner once you see how the back gets used.

Style check

Channel walls or flat rubber?

FloorLiner climbs the carpet edges to hold meltwater. Simpler all-weather mats lift out faster. The tips page lays out the trade-off.
