Class 3 or Class 5 on a Titan?
Class 3 is the lighter one, with a 2-inch receiver and 8,000 lb of trailer. It's plenty for a bike rack, a cargo carrier, a utility trailer or a small boat. Class 5 moves you to a 2-inch receiver and 16,000 lb, which is what you want for a camper, a boat or a loaded equipment trailer. Either way the Titan's own tow rating in the owner's manual is the ceiling, and the lower number wins.

Wiring, ball mount and the rest
A bike rack needs nothing but the hitch. A trailer needs lights, and CURT 56070010 ($722.10 CAD) is the four-flat harness that plugs into the Titan's factory connector for 2004, 2016 through 2017 and 2019. No cutting, no scotch-locks.

Can I put a bike rack on a Titan with this hitch?
