Highlander generations and hitch shopping

Toyota refreshed the Highlander frame more than once. Hitch numbers follow the bumper package, Hybrid notes, and XSE exclusions — not only the model name. Use this map, then open your year lander.

Years What we usually stock
2008–2013 Class 3: CURT 13534. Earlier 2004–2007 coverage often points to CURT 13530.
2014–2019 Class 3 choices include CURT 13200 and CURT 13394. Wiring often: CURT 56042.
2020–2025 Compare CURT 13453 and CURT 13460 (XSE exclusion on 13460). Early wiring for this body: CURT 56452 — confirm later years on the card.

Hybrid and XSE lines matter. Never exceed Toyota’s tow rating for your trim and powertrain.
