2018-2027 Chevrolet Equinox (Excluding Diesel) 2018-2019 GMC Terrain (Excluding Diesel) 2020-2027 GMC Terrain Class 2 Trailer Hitch — CURT 12201

This CURT Class 2 hitch is the vehicle-specific 1¼-inch receiver for 2018 through 2026 Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain gas models (and the listed 2027 Equinox application). It is rated to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 525 pounds tongue weight when GM’s numbers allow it.

Gas models only — confirm powertrain on the product page before you order. The concealed main body keeps a clean OE look under the bumper. Use it for light trailers, bike racks, and cargo carriers on these crossovers.

CURT rates the install as advanced, about 30 minutes when the underbody panels cooperate. Expect a torque wrench, patience with fasteners, and a helper to hold the hitch. Powder coat over an A-coat is built for salted roads.
