Lock the mount, not just the trailer
Thieves grab unlocked ball mounts from parking lots. A keyed hitch lock through the receiver holes slows that down. Right-angle and straight locks both work when the diameter matches — confirm before you order.
Stack defenses
Receiver lock for the mount. Coupler lock for the parked trailer. Crossed safety chains for the tow. None of these replace working brakes or proper tongue weight.
