Trailer circuits need the correct fuse rating. A repeated blow means a short, not a suggestion to install a bigger fuse. Find the tow fuse and any inline harness fuse before you rewire.

Find the fuse
Check the owner-manual tow or trailer fuse slots. Many CURT harnesses add an inline fuse on the converter. Replace with the same amp rating only.
If it blows again
Stop. Inspect pinched wires, corroded plugs, and trailer shorts. Canadian salt creates plug corrosion that looks like a mysterious fuse problem each spring.
